Combat and Matches

12.02.2026

There are two main types of battles in the game: street fights and organized matches. Each type has its own features, risks, and rewards.

Street Fights

Street fights are attacks on other Others directly on the city map. These are illegal actions that can result in arrest by the Watch.

Street fight features:

  • You can attack any Other within range
  • The fight starts at the location of the attack, preserving the positions of the Others
  • After the fight ends, characters remain where the battle concluded
  • Attacking is an illegal action and may have consequences

Matches

Matches are organized fights between formed teams. Unlike street fights, matches take place in a random location and don't carry legal consequences.

Casual Matches

Casual matches are designed for practice and gaining experience. Opponent matching is based on the number of invested talent points.

Ranked Matches

Ranked matches affect your rank. Opponent matching is based on rating points (rank).

Matchmaking System

The matchmaking system searches for suitable opponents for you, considering team strength:

  • The system tries to find equally matched opponents
  • If no "ideal" opponent is found, the limits gradually expand
  • There's a cap on limits - teams with large strength differences aren't matched

Party Formation

A party system is used for participating in matches:

  • Inviting players: interact with an Other's marker on the map to send a party invitation
  • Starting search: the party leader initiates the match search
  • Ready confirmation: before a match begins, each participant must confirm entry
  • Auto-matching: you can queue up even solo - the system will automatically find allies

If you're attacked in a street fight while searching for a match - the search automatically stops.

Important to Know

  • The queue isn't tied to location - you can freely move between districts without affecting the match search
  • The match will start when a suitable opposing team is found
  • Wait time depends on the availability of suitable opponents in the queue
